DESCRIPTION:A three-day retreat designed for you is coming to Washington\, DC.  The theme\, “The Power of Me!" will focus on who you are\, and what you have.  Each person has a gift\, and it is time for you to find yours!    Did you find your calling in life yet?  What is your passion?  Have you recognized your vision and personal purpose? How do you innovate?  How do you balance your career with your personal life?    This weekend is a great time to REVIEW\, REDISCOVER and RECONNECT with yourself and other global deaf women like you!    Let this weekend give you the opportunity to experience comfortable and private networking with other global deaf women.  Join us to become inspired and find enlightenment through exchanges of ideas for growth.    The retreat package includes Cocktail Kick-off Party on Friday evening with Alana Beal as our guest of honor.    On Saturday\, there are several things being planned.  In the morning\, we begin with a power breakfast with Bridget Bonheyo\, the keynote presenter who will begin our day with words of advice.  We have several workshops scheduled\, along with a delicious lunch. In the afternoon\, we are invited to a tea party hosted by the First Lady of Gallaudet University\, Vicki Hurwitz\, at their home in House One!    In the evening\, we will do something very different!  We will have a program called Women's Town. GDW will invite the deaf community to join us for an exhibition of services and products offered by Deaf Women professionals.  If you would like to exhibit during this event\, please include that in your registration package.
